What’s New

Pocket Punchlist has rolled out a set of new features aimed at making home evaluations easier and more informative for buyers. These updates focus on improving how users capture property details, understand technical aspects, and ask the right questions before making a purchase.

One of the key additions is Guided Upload Mode, which helps users systematically take and upload photos during property walkthroughs. Instead of guessing what to document, the app now provides step-by-step prompts to ensure important areas—like roofing, windows, and structural elements—are properly covered.

Another update expands the Educational Insights feature. Now, when the AI detects an issue, it also offers context and explanations. If a report mentions something like "roof membrane condition," users can access clear descriptions about what that means and why it matters. This is meant to help buyers navigate technical details without needing prior construction knowledge.

The Question Guidance tool has also been refined. Instead of generic suggestions, it now tailors questions based on detected issues. For example, if a potential roof problem is flagged, the app might recommend asking about the age of the material or past repairs. This helps users have more informed discussions with sellers, builders, or inspectors.

These updates are designed to streamline how buyers gather and interpret information about a home. Pocket Punchlist continues to focus on making property assessments clearer and more accessible, helping users approach home purchases with more confidence.
